Accounting Records deadline update.
The deadline for sending a copy to the Resident Agent of the Accounting Records of companies and foundations has been extended.
By resolution No. 201-2338 of Friday, April 1, 2022, the DGI (General Directorate of Revenue of Panama) extends the deadline for the presentation of Accounting Records (for offshore companies and foundations incorporated before the entry into force of Law 254 of November 11, 2021). The deadline has been extended to October 10, 2022.

Kindly remember that in subsequent years, companies and foundations must send the Resident Agent a copy of their accounting records no later than April 30. Example: Accounting records 2022, send a copy to the Resident Agent no later than April 30, 2023.
